PRE-FINISHED PLYWOOD PANELS - MAKOPLY

MakoPly is produced at Paneltec NZ by laminating finished papers on to quality European plywood

MakoPly plywood is constructed using a high quality ply that is produced by a leading European manufacturer who carries all the required world class certificates. This ply is made from poplar and is light in weight, strong, stable and brilliant to process. The glue used is to European standards of Class – 1 for standard interior use.

MakoPly laminate is sourced from leading manufacturers around the world and is tested to pass the rigorous R4 IKEA standards. These laminates are commonly known as finished papers because they are fully cured, or “finished” before being applied to the board.

LAMINATES

MakoPly is available coated with a range of laminates sourced from the world’s leading laminate manufacturers. These laminates are tested in-house to ensure compliance with standards such as IKEA’s rigorous R4 specifications.

Laminates available include the latest features such as optical three dimensional (3D) effects, high abrasion resistant AC1 finishes and impact resistant CPL laminates. The optical 3D laminates give the appearance of solid wood to a degree that even industry experts find hard to distinguish between the two.

ENVIRONMENTAL

All Paneltec laminates are made using plantation grown wood fibre and contain no PVC, toxic metals or other environmental hazards. The lamination process using D3 cross linking PVAC is completed right here in our factory in New Zealand.
